The position reports to the Product Planning Director. As a member of the Product Planning department, our candidate will lead the definition and implementation of the European pricing strategy for company's new models. In addition, you will monitor product & pricing strategies and market trends in order for our models to maintain a competitive price position over lifecycle.


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

- Manage the European pricing team (4 members) to ensure results are delivered in an accurate & timely manner, optimize the internal pricing processes and the use of pricing tools
- Define price and cost targets for new vehicles during the development phase
- Lead the development of a long-term pricing strategy considering internal business objectives, as well as external challenges
- Formulate a pan-European pricing direction considering the local competitive environment & requirements of each HME Market
- Liaise with the Product Managers to manage lifecycle actions for existing vehicles
- Monitor the price competitiveness across Europe and formulate measures for improvement in order to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Finance to secure revenue and profit targets, through price actions and up-sell strategies
- Maintain excellent level of communication with all relevant stakeholders, including HME Markets, Global HQ, R&D and HME relevant departments (e.g. Sales, Finance)

Profil

An automotive professional, with strong experienced (minimum 7 years) in pricing/product planning or financing planning/analyst, ideally gained at an European HQ in automotive industry, with positive experience in a similar position.


Professional Requirements:

- High level of education : Academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Finance
- Background in business administration or related quantitative discipline
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally with an automotive OEM (pricing management, product marketing and/or product planning)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work within an international team
- Resilience to work in a fast-paced, results-based environment
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills, with a creative and goal-oriented mind-set
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially in Excel & PowerPoint) and automotive tools (e.g. JATO)
- Excellent command of English, solid knowledge of other European language(s) preferred
